About this deal

Use it as a guide to the contents of the set, or to find out part numbers when requesting replacements.

On the whole, I sill feel like I did with the school: this set has to much road, and not enough building. Adding the final touches here and there of fruit crates, lights, and huge carrot sign, we have finally completed the set. Here’s a look at the forklift, which also has a similar-sized footprint, and has a bright orange colour scheme. The little girl’s hoodie also contains a significant detail – the design, which has strips of light blue, pink and a solitary white strip is a subtle nod to the transgender flag design, another win for inclusion and representation in this set.If I were being picky the trolley itself a tad too big compared to a Minifigure, it’s almost head height. Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd. There are great play features, from the forklift, to the loading bay, as well as a great bunch of well-rounded characters who all have a part to play. What LEGO gave us was an entrance that opens right into a classroom that also has lockers off to the side, and a second level with a classroom.

My daughter immediately identified these as “beer that daddy loves to drink”, which probably tells you a bit too much about my choice of beverages. Near the entrance is a bottle recycling machine, which uses minimal floor space and has a good collection crate for bottles on the other side. Both vehicles are great, City-scale and feel especially relevant to the build – not like random vehicles shoehorned in for play features or to bump up the piece counts of set. Of course, like with any LEGO legs, you can pop them out, but because the prosthetic can’t be swivelled, this means that you can only use it as a left leg. This is such a well-designed element, as it matches the length of a regular minifigure late, and even has a hole on the inside for a stud to pop through, allowing the minifigure to well, function as if it were a normal leg. s Road Plate parking lot to other LEGO playsets for extended play, and the 5 minifigures include LEGO City Adventures TV series character Mr. It was previously available in green in 41362 Heartlake City Supermarket, so it’s nice to see this element make a comeback. We will introduce you exclusively to Newpay finance products provided by NewDay Limited under this Introducer Appointed Representative arrangement. The City set has an element of hardworking action - namely, the moving of groceries from a truck (not included) to a forklift to the shelf.

Overall, there is quite a lot of value despite the set having only 404 parts - value in the parts, and importantly, lots and lots of play value. Produce only comes in this set and the Advent Calendar and everything besides his hair is exclusive to him, the little girl's jacket only comes in two sets, the peapod costume makes its first appearance in a set after debuting in CMF Series 20, and even the woman's green jacket underneath the costume has only appeared a handful of times. However, this feature is probably why LEGO has used so many crates throughout the set even when they aren't the best thing for the actual products displayed inside. Another “first” for this set is the inclusion of the first LEGO minifigure with a modern prosthetic leg.

Unfortunately for the set, the devil is in the details, and the details leave something to be desired. Finally, the school bus build itself looks awful and uses a sizable number of parts in the school set, whereas these vehicles are small and look good.

I guess LEGO Citizens looked across town to Heartlake City, and wanted some of that utopian quality of life, and all the amenities that you’d expect from an urban metropolis. This is great and I’m so happy LEGO have decided to include and expand upon the diversity of people, it should be done more!

Here’s a look at a selection of famous LEGO minifigures with prosthetic legs, just to illustrate how unique the modern prosthesis looks like. As this is the special ASDA edition of the set you’ll find a sash wrapped around the box with details regarding what’s included and where to place the stickers. The stems, which look like a modified candle element have a little stalk that curve upwards which is pretty neat.
