About this deal

Alternatively, you can even get a subtle glow with some of the modern classic lenses that use single coatings or no coatings, like the Voigtlander SC lenses and even some of my Kipon lenses produce a nice glow in some situations. If you have different lenses and would like to use the same filter on those lenses, you can save costs by getting the step-up rings. The quality of this Black Pro Mist from KeF is excellent, the result is identical to the more expensive filters from Nisi. I think the only disadvantage is that the lens cap fits a little loosely over the adapter, but probably fits snugly on the Fujifilm option (just guessing). The construction is excellent and can be seen immediately from the layer applied to the surface which is a professional tool.

While the 10% or 20% might have been more appropriate for a couple of the Film Simulation Recipes, overall I appreciate what the 5% CineBloom does to the photographs, which is not much yet oftentimes just enough. There’s a good chance that you might not have noticed the shots where filmmakers used the diffusion filters in movies. Camera Review, Lens Review Morten Byskov July 15, 2022 Fujifilm X-H2S, Fujifilm X-H2, Fujifilm XF 18-120mm LM PZ WR, Fujifilm 150-600mm f/5.It's funny how people today try to artificially create the shortcomings they used to be angry about to produce mostly ordinary YouTube videos that look like they come from the past. When I apply my Aged presets on top of this, I achieve a look that is incredibly close to a film-like appearance. I used the Nikon Standard Profile since it adds a nice blend to the colors compared to Adobe Color or Adobe Standard which feels a little harsh at times. Third, tag a friend, especially if you think that friend might be interested in film simulation recipes or photography. I took it out on a couple of occasions during the golden hour in Stanley Park, Vancouver, and loved how the CineBloom diffusion filter made things extra dreamy, especially in heavily backlit scenarios.

When using this filter, the flaring lights will also have an enhanced, more dreamy effect than just with the anamorphic lens.

You can also use them in other ways according to your preferences – as creativity is the only limit here.

The imperfection that grain and blacks have in film photography, is part of what we try to emulate when using VSCO or any film preset in Lightroom.k. if referenced shortly or once in a while but I think we should live in a today's world and not try to mimicry the past. While the previous Recipe used Auto White Priority, Ektachrome 320T uses Auto Ambiance Priority, but don’t let that fool you: this Recipe is intended for use at night or indoors under artificial light, where it works very well. In simpler words, a diffusion filter is used to diffuse the image-forming light – and defocus it to achieve a dreamy and hazy glow in the image. There is a version for X-Trans III cameras plus the X-T3 and X-T30, and a version for X-Trans II models.

The Moment soft filters consist of white nanoparticles sandwiched between two layers of Japanese glass.

I’m not sure which filters are right for you, but at the very least consider attaching an adapter and UV filter to give your Fujifilm X100V a little more weather protection. But now, you don’t need to do all that, as having a diffusion filter will easily get it done for you.
