About this deal

When carrying a baby or toddler, it's ideal to ensure the carrier supports them across the whole of their seated width, i.e. from one knee to the other. This ensures the carrier supports more of their weight, so they feel lighter on you! You can reposition the body of the carrier to make the seat wider or smaller to ensure your babies legs and bottom are perfectly supported. They should be supported from knee to knee so you’ll need to adjust the carrier as they get bigger. I would recommend this product to a another mum because it's so easy to use and it's a lovely material so it doesn't rub. Not only that, it also comes in other colours so it can suit anyone's taste or sex of the baby, as all the colours are very unisex . For You: Designed to fit all mums, dads and carers. Waistband extends from approx 61cm - 132cm (24” - 52”)

The Izmi baby carrier is really easy to put on. You can do it on your own and won’t need any help from someone with an extra pair of hands. You might need to do it in front of the mirror the first few times you wear it but I can pop it on and off really easily now. I can even get Joseph out while he’s still asleep and get him into bed! #MumSkills 😉 Tightening your carrier (usually) or loosening it (sometimes) just a few centimetres here and there can make a vast difference. As can positioning the waistband higher up on your body. The clue is in the name: it’s a WAISTband, not a hip belt.

Tested by mum Charlotte Wright for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Your baby should be held high and snug against your chest, close enough to kiss the top of their head; and with the carrier tightened to prevent them flopping or slumping away from your body. The Izmi Essential Carrier is a older, basic polyester version of the premium cotton, ultra-soft, all-position Izmi Baby Carrier. Have you ever tried to use a baby carrier that feels like it’s a puzzle to actually get it on? And then you need to figure out how to get the baby inside! You shouldn’t need a degree to use a baby carrier! I used it all the time when Joseph was little and wobbly headed but now I just put it up when he’s asleep. When he’s awake he prefers it to be down so he can look out. With the Izmi baby carrier the head support is attached and just poppers into place when you need it. And the best thing is that the head support isn’t in the way when you’re not using it.

I would definitely say it makes life easier as it is another option instead of always using a pushchair. It also comes with a bag and a head rest which is a big plus. The Izmi Baby Carrier is loved by mums and dads, of all shapes and sizes. Petite mums, or anyone who wants to avoid a hot, bulky carrier, often find this is THE best newborn carrier for them. ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT, PERFECT FOR INDOOR AND OUT AND ABOUT There is no padding anywhere on the carrier. This may seem like a downside, but actually it is so well designed that padding really isn’t needed, as your baby’s weight is evenly distributed around your body. We also have a two year old, George, who doesn’t like being in the pushchair but can’t walk very far. We rarely take a double pushchair because it’s a bulky nuisance, so when George gets tired I pop him in the pushchair and put Joseph in the carrier. I don’t feel like the Izmi carrier adds any extra bulk so is just really easy to take out and about. This also helps to evenly distribute your baby’s weight, making them easier to carry and it makes it more comfortable for them. You can extend the width of your Izmi Toddler Carrier using the hidden Velcro tabs to ensure an ergonomic and comfy fit as your child grows.
